Terms of Service

Oryn is a subscription-based software platform that produces automated equity research: scores, ratings, fair-value estimates, theses, alerts and reports. The service is provided for informational purposes only and is not investment advice — see our Disclosures page, which forms part of these terms.

You must be at least 18 years old to use Oryn. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, for keeping your credentials secure, and for all activity under your account. Accounts are personal and may not be shared or resold.

Oryn is offered as a monthly subscription at the price shown at checkout, plus applicable taxes. Payments are processed by Stripe; your subscription renews automatically each month until cancelled.

You can cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period: you keep access until then, and no further payments are charged. Except where required by law, payments already made are non-refundable.

We may change the subscription price with at least 30 days' notice; the new price applies from your next renewal after the notice period.

You agree not to: (a) scrape, harvest or bulk-export the platform's data or outputs; (b) resell, redistribute or republish Oryn's content as your own or as part of a competing service; (c) reverse engineer or attempt to extract the platform's models or source code; (d) circumvent access controls, rate limits or subscription checks; or (e) use the service for any unlawful purpose.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

The Oryn name, design, software, models and generated content are and remain the property of Oryn. Your subscription grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the platform and its outputs for your own research. Market data and filings remain the property of their respective sources.

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, reliability, availability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Oryn does not warrant that scores, ratings, estimates or any other output will be accurate or profitable, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Oryn shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, capital, data or opportunity, arising from or related to your use of the service — including decisions you make based on its outputs.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Oryn's total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amounts you paid for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim.

You may stop using the service and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms, with notice where practicable. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability) survive.

Oryn evolves continuously; features may be added, changed or removed. We may update these terms from time to time. If a change is material, we will notify you (for example by email or an in-product notice) before it takes effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Québec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of Québec, unless mandatory consumer-protection rules of your place of residence provide otherwise.
